A hit-and-run driver slammed into another car in Brooklyn early Monday – causing a chain reaction crash that left one passenger dead and another critically injured, cops said.

Jorge Sanchezde Lozada Haiek, 26, was driving a white Toyota Yaris east on Stockholm Street around 12:50 a.m. when a Kia Sportage driver heading south on Irving Avenue in Bushwick struck his ride, police said.

The Toyota then careened into three parked and unoccupied vehicles, cops said.

An unidentified male riding in the back seat of the Toyota was rushed to Elmhurst Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

A 34-year-old man, the front passenger, was taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, cops said.

Another man, 29, also riding in the back seat, was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.

Sanchezde Lozada Haiek, too, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.

He was also arrested and slapped with a charge for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Meanwhile, the Kia came to a rest on Irving Avenue, where the driver and passengers bolted on foot, authorities said. They had not been caught by the afternoon.

The crash happened about eight hours after a 40-year-old man was critically hurt by a hit-and-run driver in Hell’s Kitchen, cops said.

The pedestrian was heading north on 10th Avenue and was at the 41st Street intersection around 5 p.m. Sunday when a Dodge Ram made a left turn and struck him, police said.

The impact caused the man to fall to the ground, authorities said.
